The United States of America is on the verge of a war, and it has nothing to do with the Muslim community or the highly dangerous terror group ISIS. We are on the verge of a battle from within, because we’ve been convinced by the media and by our President that we are very different from one another, simply because of the color of our skin. Yes, in 2016, we are perhaps more divided than ever before, with racial tension being felt in every city and suburban neighborhood throughout the country, where police officers have been put under a microscope and now cannot perform their already exceedingly high pressured and difficult jobs appropriately, a job that they have bravely taken on in order to protect us, the American people. While many white Americans are feeling guilty throughout the country, though not exactly sure why, some African Americans are informing the American people that black lives matter, as if we weren’t thinking this way already. We are at the point as a nation, where we are completely split down the middle, but perhaps we aren’t as far apart as we are being told. So how did we get to this dark place, where so many black Americans in our country don’t trust police officers or anyone that has a different skin color?
What is Racism?
It depends on who you ask because it has different meanings to different people. If I were to look up the definition, here are a few I would get.
- The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
- Poor treatment of or violence against people because of their race
- The belief that some races of people are better than others
So how is it that in 2016, over 50 years after Martin Luther King Jr. was fighting for civil rights, and a time in which we’ve come so far on racial prejudice, and gay rights issues, how is it that now, of all times, racial tension is higher than ever? Yes racism still exists, but as you are about to see, pandering and misleading politicians, the Black Lives Matter Movement, and the ignorance on the Donald Trump situation, are not helping anyone’s cause and are in fact making matters worse.
Last Thursday night, in the wake of the two highly controversial killings of African Americans that could be seen on every mainstream media news network and social media platform, the Black Lives Matter movement decided to have a peaceful protest, to express their displeasure with the perceived injustice of police officers towards the two black men, and to make sure the American people and police officers throughout the country knew that their lives were just as important as anyones. Evidently one man in particular agreed with the lack of justice and clear prejudice from police officers, and decided to take care of the problem himself.
His name is Micah Xavier Johnson, a 25 year old former solider from Texas, and he shot 11 police officers with a sniper from an elevated perch in downtown Dallas, where the protest was taking place. The man pictured above assassinated 5 police officers in cold blood- the same police officers who were there to protect the Black Lives Matter protestors who agreed with Johnson’s belief that police act with prejudice towards African Americans. His actions were representative of what so many Americans have feared- that we are a country on the verge of anarchy, more divided as a nation than ever before.
Make no mistake about it, Xavier Johnson was a full blown racist African American. He even admitted as much when he claimed he committed the violent acts out of anger towards the recent police shootings, his resentment towards white people due to their unfair treatment of black people and because he was “upset about Black Lives Matter”. The man who attempted to assassinate 11 police officers, essentially admitted to killing the Dallas cops in retaliation for the killings of two African Americans which had occurred earlier in the week, and went so far as to say he was upset with white people and would continue targeting white people, especially white police officers.
According to his Facebook he had ties to black power groups… The New Black Panther Party, the Black Riders Liberation party, and the African American Defense League- a group which had posted a disturbing call to “ATTACK EVERYTHING IN BLUE EXCEPT THE MAIL MAN, UNLESS HE IS CARRYING MORE THAN MAIL”, in response to the controversial shootings of African Americans earlier in the week. The Black Riders Liberation Party Facebook page had similar posts, calling for its page followers to recruit others, and to “Arm yourself or Harm yourself”. Remember, this is the same social media platform where posts are routinely taken down if they’re in defense of Donald Trump and backed with rational and fair reasoning, but posts from angry Black Panther followers calling for the killing of innocent white police officers are totally okay, at least in the view of globalism loving Mark Zuckerberg.
Johnson also made a bizarre post to the Black Panther Facebook page just a few weeks ago, when he posted a video of people (white) slaughtering dolphins, commenting, “Look at the joy on their faces. Why do so many whites (not all) enjoy killing and participating in the death of innocent beings?”. These discoveries were just more proof that the self described black militant was racist towards whites, going as far as to hint white people are fine with killing any form of innocent life, and that white people are more sinister and evil than other races. The question now becomes, how did we even get to the point where someone would murder police officers in cold blood, who were simply there to protect the people he was in agreement with?
Alton Sterling was shot and killed by two police officers in Baton Rouge, LA, after a 911 dispatch operator received a complaint about the man who was simply selling music in front of a popular local convenience store. It appears as though the police officers acted with excessive force, as they shot the man from point blank range after he was already pinned to the ground (updated at the end). The police officers deserve their due justice just like any other American in this country, but if the investigators come to the conclusion that the police officers all but killed Mr. Sterling in cold blood, they should be thrown imprisoned just like any other American citizen would be. Regardless of Mr. Sterling’s rap sheet, (he did impregnate a 14 year old at the age of 20) if they come to the conclusion this was cops abusing their powers and using excessive force, I want those two police officers gone. Mr. Sterlings family deserves justice, as I believe any reasonable American citizen would concur, regardless of race or political party affiliation.
North of where the killing of Alton Sterling took place, a video surfaced of a woman calmly recording her lover in the passenger seat beside her, while the man was slowly dying from blood loss caused by an apparent gunshot wound from police officers. His name is Philando Castile, and he was indeed killed by police officers earlier this week. Below is the video that has gone viral across the mainstream media news networks and various social media platforms. Considering the raw emotions that were going through so many American’s minds in the aftermath of the Sterling killing, the Castile killing just added fuel to the brewing storm.
Obama and Clinton’s Misleading Messages
In response to the questionable violent behavior from police officers towards Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, the President of the United States addressed the matter, in a manner which just strengthened the divide and mistrust of people of all races, and put police officers who are already in a difficult position, in an even more vulnerable spot.
President Obama has been sending mixed messages in the aftermath of recent police related incidents, and his mixed words and inaction in response to last week’s situation was no different. Obama came to the defense of the Dallas Police department who was still reeling from having just lost five of their own men a mere dozen hours earlier, stating that violence towards police officers isn’t justifiable, however he didn’t do so until the aftermath of the tragedy.
Instead you had Mr. Obama reading off statistics almost robotic-like, suggesting African Americans are more likely to be killed by police officers than white Americans (which we already knew) but offering no suggestions on how to solve these issues after being in office for almost the full eight years. “Last year African Americans were shot by police at more than twice the rate of whites”, Obama said in the aftermath of the Sterling and Castile killings, and then went on say, “African Americans are arrested at twice the rate as whites”, the uninspiring President stated.
These statistics are both alarming and troubling (although incredibly misleading), but this isn’t information the American people weren’t informed of beforehand. Anyone can read a script, but as the President of the United States of America you are held to a different standard and are expected to unify the American people, not read off statistics that do not tell the whole story. Mr. Obama instead blurred the lines by not clearly standing behind the police officers, nor stating outright what it is that the African American community needs to do in order to lessen the racial tensions which currently exist, all the while giving more ammunition to African Americans throughout the country, that there is a racial divide between police officers and black America, a dangerous and slippery slope.
Time For an Honest and Open Discussion
First, I need to make one thing very clear- racism still exists in our country, but it’s not what it used to be. I am not racist, not close, but this undoubtedly isn’t the case for everyone, even today. I do not as a white man know what it is like to be a black person in the United States, as Newt Gingrich stated. I’m also not naive enough to think there aren’t African Americans throughout the country who are ignorantly labeled with certain stereotypes just because of the color of their skin. However racism exists from all races, and comes in all sizes and shapes, and I have personally witnessed a disturbing amount of ignorant racism towards many towards Donald Trump supporters, due to misinformed opinions of millions of Americans that Donald Trump is a racist… irresponsibly perpetuated by the likes of Shaun King, Don Lemon, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and many within the political establishment and mainstream media.
As Obama addressed the highly controversial killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, he informed the American people that African Americans are arrested at twice the rate of whites. This may be true but Mr. Obama is conveniently leaving out the fact that these numbers would also suggest that there is an underlying systemic issue within many black communities throughout the country (which there is). Perhaps African Americans are being arrested at twice the rate of white Americans, because they’re more likely to commit crimes due to higher unemployment rates, lower high school graduation rates, and impoverished upbringings, among many other factors that Mr. Obama and Democratic politicians haven’t taken care of themselves.
Systemic Issues Caused and Ignored by the Democratic Politicians
Obama read off these statistics in front of millions of Americans, as if these statistics were it, and no other factors could come into play to shed more light on these numbers. Statements like these from the President of the United States of America are both misleading and dangerous. Here are some thoughts and facts that strongly suggest there is a whole lot more to the story.
First of all, under Obama’s watch, the African American unemployment rate is more than double that of white Americans, which would reasonably lead one to believe it is more likely if you’re unemployed, you’re more likely to become involved in criminal activity (this is not at all implying unemployed African Americans are committing crimes, or that they aren’t unfairly missing out on job opportunities like much of America) but to suggest there are many factors which come into play when considering Obama’s misleading game of number reading. Perhaps we need to work on the economy and create more jobs for African Americans Barack.
When it comes to high school graduation rates, African Americans are well below the graduation rates of other races. Only 69 percent of African Americans are graduating from high school, with some states such as Nevada graduating only 48 percent of African Americans, and Minnesota, the state where Castile was shot and killed by police officers, graduating only 51 percent of blacks. Perhaps we need to look at the bigger picture, and look at these alarmingly low numbers which make it frighteningly clear that African Americans on average are not receiving the education other races are. There are many factors that lead to this, including inferior educational systems within lower income inner city communities, as well as inner family turmoil, and lack of parental guidance in some instances. Less education and lower high school graduation rates would lead one to reasonably believe African Americans are more likely to get themselves in trouble.
Despite making up for only 13 percent of the total American population, African Americans make up for 65.6 percent of drug related crimes. If one wants to argue this is more proof of racial profiling and targeting of African Americans from police officers for drug offenses that’s fine, but aren’t politicians like Barack Obama a huge part of the problem on this particular topic, having laws that punish simple possession of marijuana offenses, with exceedingly harsh punishments? Is this cops being racist, or is it more proof that politicians, Barack Obama included- don’t actually care about race, but care far more about pushing self serving agendas and making money, while using race as a tool to gain more votes? We do know what the current Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton’s husband did for the African American community regarding drug offenses correct? These are just a few of the issues Barack Obama has not only failed the African American people of this country on, but helped contribute to.
Perhaps the one statistic that bothers me the most, is the big elephant in the room for so many African Americans and black communities throughout the country. It is a factor that I cannot relate too. Sadly, 72 percent of African Americans grow up fatherless in this country. Yes, 72 percent of black America grows up without a father figure, or another family member to look up to and receive guidance from. What does this tell us exactly? First of all, there are many African Americans in the United States who have beaten the odds and done great things despite having to overcome not having that male figure in their life, which is beyond commendable. It does however, tell us that African Americans are once again more likely to go down the wrong path and become involved in criminal activity absent the guidance so many of us are fortunate enough to have received. It also would lead one to believe African Americans in general are less trusting of people- all people, especially males- police officers included. This certainly isn’t something to peg onto Mr. Barack Obama, as he is a fine example of someone who’s gone on to accomplish great things despite not having a father figure, becoming the first African American President in United States history. This statistic does however, once again, shed more light on the real circumstances that clearly show there is a whole lot more to the story, than Mr. Obama’s statistics from earlier in the week would lead one to believe. It is also more proof that there are deep rooted systemic issues at work here, and that it’s not just “cops are racist towards African Americans” like Mr. Obama is hinting at in addressing the American people.
The Stalien Perspective
Theres another sad reality regarding the relationship between African Americans and police officers. Along with the fatherless statistic, this is a really difficult topic for anyone outside of the African American community to truly understand, but it’s real. That is, the distrust between African Americans towards police officers, some of which is rationally justified based on past experiences with family members and/or friends being killed, or being racially profiled themselves personally, some of which is misplaced anger and frustration towards those protecting them, because of the black community facing a crime epidemic from within, which they know, they’re just not sure how to stop it.
Jay Stalien is someone who is perhaps more qualified to speak to this topic than anyone else. He is an African American police officer, who has witnessed the black on black crime epidemic firsthand. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, he witnessed the sad reality of what many African Americans growing up in lower income communities face- a high amount of drug abuse, and African Americans killing each other from within. In a passionate and gut wrenching Facebook post, Stalien explained the complexity of the relationship between cops and blacks in America, and how these two controversial killings by police officers drove to their emotional appeal, but may have enabled them to escape their own dark reality of inner turmoil and frustrations. Stalien stated the following,
“I have come to realize something that is still hard for me to understand to this day. The following may be a shock to some coming from an African American, but there mere fact that it may be shocking is prima facie evidence of the sad state of affairs we are in as humans. I use to be so torn inside growing up. Here I am, a young African-American born and raised in Brooklyn, NY wanting to be a cop. I watched and lived through the crime that took place in the hood. My own black people killing others over nothing. Crack heads and heroin addicts lined the lobby of my building as I shuffled around them to make my way to our 1 bedroom apartment with 6 of us living inside. I used to be woken in the middle of the night by the sound of gun fire, only to look outside and see it was 2 African Americans shooting at each other. It never sat right with me. I wanted to help my community and stop watching the blood of African Americans spilled on the street at the hands of a fellow black man. I became a cop because black lives in my community, along with ALL lives, mattered to me, and wanted to stop the bloodshed. As time went by in my law enforcement career, I quickly began to realize something. I remember countless times I stood 2 inches from a young black man, around my age, laying on his back, gasping for air as blood filled his lungs. I remember them bleeding profusely with the unforgettable smell of deoxygenated dark red blood in the air, as it leaked from the bullet holes in his body on to the hot sidewalk on a summer day. I remember the countless family members who attacked me, spit on me, cursed me out, as I put up the crime scene tape to cordon off the crime scene, yelling and screaming out of pain and anger at the sight of their loved ones taking their last breath. I never took it personally, I knew they were hurting. I remember the countless times I had to order new uniforms, because the ones I had on, were bloody from the blood of another black victim…of black on black crime. I remember the countless times I got back in my patrol car, distraught after having watched another black male die in front of me, having to start my preliminary report something like this: Suspect- Black/Male, Victim- Black/Male. I remember the countless times I canvassed the area afterwards, and asked everyone, “did you see who did it”, and the popular response from the very same family members was always, ‘Fuck the Police, I ain’t no snitch, I’m gonna take care of this myself’. This happened every single time, every single homocide, black on black.
This is just part of his gut wrenching post, as he goes on to state that black Americans throughout the country believe that police officers have it out for them, despite indisputable facts telling them a completely different story. It is misguided and misplaced blame and frustration stemming from inner turmoil caused by continuously seeing loved ones taken from them. As soon as Stalien went from being an everyday African American to a police officer, those who shared the same skin color as him, turned their back on him, and began to resent him. It’s as if cops and police sirens are painful reminders of the past, when family members and friends were taken away, and Stalien became part of that memory, and became the enemy as a result. This can also lead to those in the poorer black communities, to shift their feeling from anger to “racism” from police officers, as a coping mechanism to deal with their bleak reality, and to shift blame.
In addition to the current President speaking on the controversial killings, and race relations in the United States currently (in addition to ignoring the systemic issues and topics he has let the African American community down with) the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton gave a preview as to how she would handle such situations. In the aftermath of the 5 cops being gunned down in Dallas, Clinton pandered to the African American community to no ones surprise, and stated the following
“Ending the systemic racism that plagues our country and rebuilding our communities for the police and citizens all seeing themselves as being on the same side, will require contributions, from all of us. White Americans need to do a better job of listening, when African Americans talk, talk about the seen and unseen barriers they do face every day. We need to try as best we can, to walk in one another shoes. To imagine what it would feel like if people followed us around stores, or lock their car doors when we walk past, or if every time our children play in the park, or went for a ride, or just to the store to buy iced tea and skittles, we said a prayer, please god please god, don’t let anything happen to my baby”.
While the current president was hinting at racism from police officers and failing to protect those who protect us, the woman looking to take his position was hinting at strong racism within the United States as well, and placing blame and responsibility on the white community. The woman who may be leading the country in a mere four months, literally told white people that they need to do a better job, as if she knew they weren’t already. She glossed over some of the responsibility the black community needs to take on, all in the name of race pandering and winning over black american votes, while continuing to push the same false, race driven narrative, which is “those damn white people and their racist thoughts, have it out for us black Americans”, as the dozens of black people behind Mrs. Clinton cheered in agreement with her white blaming remarks.
Mrs. Clinton gave more ammunition to millions of black people, by hinting that we aren’t respecting black Americans, or being “understanding” of their problems, because we aren’t listening to them evidently. All comments like these do, is strengthen the racial divide between black and white Americans, and shift responsibility. Mrs. Clinton was essentially playing the “lets blame white people” game, because she knew that many blacks in this country would agree with her sadly. Comments like these create racism, and continue to allow this backwards way of thinking to go on even in 2016, and it enables a victim mentality for African Americans throughout the country. If a “leader” thinks white people are to blame, much of the black community and Clinton supporters are going to agree, and it allows the black community to turn their back on the harsh reality of black on black crime, excessive drug use in the poorer black communities, and blacks killing whites at a higher rate than whites killing blacks.
The worst part? Black people aren’t even necessarily to blame for their problems, as Democratic politicians such as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton continue to fail on their promises for the black community, and help create the systemic issues that exist. Perhaps no politician is more reflective of this than Mrs. Clinton herself, given what she and her husband did to help contribute to the excessive amount of Black Americans going to jail for drug crimes in the 90’s. Mrs. Clinton simply doesn’t care about the black community or anything other than becoming more wealthy for that matter.
Mainstream Media Constant Race Baiting
The Mainstream Media’s constant race baiting while giving misleading information on the situation doesn’t help the matter either, and enables acts such as Thursday nights devastating killing spree to occur. Constantly replaying the same two videos does shed light on real racism that (may be) occurring in America, however it’s also playing to an emotional appeal of the African American community, enabling them to finger-point and deflect from their own reality, a highly complicated subject and difficult thing to face. It’s as if the mainstream media is looking for stories to race bait society (they are).
Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, CNN and much of the mainstream media, appear to always be chomping at the bit, to get any story that could be turned into a racial story. Donald Trump and his supporters have become all too familiar with this practice, as the Mainstream Media have been consistently sensationalizing events, and turning many real issues into racial issues, as a way of shifting the blame and/or weakening the spotlight from the real underlying dynamic that are part of the reasoning such events occur in the first place. There is a difference between highlighting real issues regarding race in America, and exploiting race, only to push certain agendas.
Sensationalism and putting a magnifying glass on events such as those which occurred at a Trump rally earlier this year, when a white Trump supporter punched an African American, and then the constant replaying of the the same video throughout mainstream television networks, enabled African Americans throughout the country to believe that Donald Trump and all of his supporters are black and African American hating, white worshipping fascists. Contrary to popular belief, I can assure you this isn’t close to the reality of the situation- sorry Shaun King. What this does instead, is continue a false narrative, and lead everyone that’s opposed to Donald Trump, have their thoughts “confirmed” on the matter, even though they’re false thoughts based on self serving agendas from the mainstream media.
Just earlier this week the mainstream media attempted to paint Donald Trump as an anti-Semite for retweeting a tweet poking fun at Hillary Clinton’s corruption, which happened to have dozens of dollar bills and a six pointed star in the background of the image. This was the story the mainstream media was irresponsibly focused on, less then a full 24 hours after the major news that Hillary Clinton wouldn’t have charges pressed against her by the FBI, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary, and the FBI lead investigator’s own words suggesting it was more than warranted. It also proved that despite not being charged, Hillary Clinton had been lying to the American people every single day about her computer and e-mail handling of highly classified information, but the mainstream media was far more concerned with race and hate baiting, and painting Donald Trump in a misleading negative light (his own son in law and daughter Ivanka are Jewish), which fueled more ammunition to the already false narrative that Donald Trump is a prejudice and hate filled racist.
Much like the mainstream media has been shifting the attention from the real issue regarding Hillary Clinton and her clear corruptive behavior, and instead focusing much of their attention on Mr. Trump’s harmless tweet, rightfully calling out Mrs. Clinton for her lies, Obama and the mainstream media are once again shifting from what’s really going on here, and instead making it a racial issue within the police community towards people of other races, again a very dangerous and misleading practice. I understand that making everything about race and prejudice is far sexier and grabs the headlines, and appeals to the emotional and empathetic side of millions of Americans throughout the country, after all the other reality, the only reality, is far scarier for both Barack Obama and the black and African American community to face. That would mean looking in front of the mirror and being honest with one self, as oppose to finger pointing and blaming others, something that has become commonplace in 2016.
Mr. Obama hasn’t accepted responsibility for his own failures regarding the African American community under his watch. His refusal to clearly stand up for the police earlier this week when they needed his support the most before the Dallas tragedy occurred, and instead vaguely paint them all under a racist light, put them in a highly vulnerable position, something that isn’t reflective of what the leader of United States of America is called on to do.
I will never defend, nor tolerate racist behavior from any one person, police officer or not. I’m also well aware that racism exists everywhere in this country, however it comes from all sides. As a Donald Trump supporter, I have experienced more ignorant and racist comments from people of all races, despite the fact I have never said or done anything to warrant such comments. Racism in the United States exists, and there are problems which need to be addressed (to which Obama hasn’t done by his own admission without saying as much).
There also are racist police officers, as there are over 1.1 million police officers in the United States currently, making it simply impossible to think there are not a few bad apples. This doesn’t at all justify or excuse the police officers who do use excessive force, and these police officers need to be punished appropriately. It’s also important to note that i’m not naive enough to think there aren’t police officers in this country covering for each other either. These are the type of police officers who need to look themselves in the mirror as well, and get real about the situation, as it has to happen from both sides.
However leadership matters, words matter, and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have proven once again to be more dividers than unifiers. Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton could have shed light on the reality of the situation by asking for accountability and honesty from all sides. Mr. Obama could have told the truth about police officers and African Americans in this country. Obama could have supported the people who protect us from the criminals when they needed him the most. Obama could have told blacks in America the truth about the deep rooted systemic issues in the United States of America when they needed to hear it the most. However, as the Democratic President, he instead made the simple decision to blame it on racism and race, and paint police officers as the bad guys and by extension put them in a vulnerable position, as five were tragically slaughtered in Dallas last week. Police officers now fear being labeled as racist, and fear that their own President won’t support and protect them, not exactly the message and decision making of a unifier, Barack. As for Mrs. Clinton, she will create more racism in this country than any other leader before, by continuing to push false messages, all for the sake of winning over black people, while creating false perceptions in their head by proffering the same old lies.
BLACK LIVES MATTER
While Barack Obama was confusing the American people as to what he stood for, the Black Lives Matter movement was sweeping the nation and making all of the headlines in the aftermath of these events. Black Lives Matter is a movement that is designed to seek justice for African Americans who have experienced unjust treatment, profiling, and punishment due to racism. While its intentions may have initially been good, it is clear it has veered off the road into a far more sinister and dangerous direction.
Black Lives Matter in a literal sense is quite obvious to the vast majority of Americans in 2016, and there are many members or supporters of the movement who have good intentions, and are truly seeking racial equality (at least in their mind).
The sad reality is while its intentions may have been good, those who still have good intentions are ultimately downed out by the sounds and screams from the thousands of ignorant and racist members within or who support the group. Black Lives Matter is a movement that is treading dangerously close to starting a civil war. While much of the country believes its intentions are still good, and the members are only seeking racial justice, those of us with our eyes open see a very different story- as they are quite literally exacerbating the divide between all races in this country. While in their minds, they’re closing the racial inequality gap by protesting the streets, informing police officers across the country that there lives matter just as much as anyone else’s, we see a group whose regressing racial progress in every sense of the meaning.
Shaun King Victim Mentality
Just the term or name “Black Lives Matter” is implying automatically and factually that black people in the United States of America are being treated worse than other races, and being shortchanged in life in general, enabling a victim mentality for millions of African Americans in this country. This isn’t to say there aren’t blacks in America that have to deal with interactions I can’t even relate to, this isn’t to say that there are not black people who are being racially profiled or looked at differently than someone of a different race, this is to say that BLM is enabling African Americans to now have a built in excuse to not achieve great things in life, and hold resentment towards people of other races. It also convinces minorities and black Americans that racism is very much still a problem, which becomes ingrained in their mind and fuels the projecting and resentment towards those of other skin colors, which in itself increases racism within the black community.
Think about it, it has a carry down effect on many African Americans in this country- if a black American were to look at the television screen and see these protests, it’s natural to now think to themselves, “those damn cops have it out for us, how can I make it in America if we’re not even being treated equally”, which strengthens the mistrust between police officers and African Americans everywhere, and makes these few and singular videos going viral, regress racial equality. If you keep shouting and telling everyone that there is major racial inequality within our country, it is actually going to increase racial inequality in our country. The more “Black Lives Matter” posts being posted on Facebook, tweeted out on Twitter, and voiced in the streets of cities throughout the country, the more likely people become convinced it is factually true, which naturally strengthens distrust between African Americans and people of all other races, officers included.
Shaun King is part of the Black Lives Matter movement, and has made a career of seeking justice for those who have been treated differently because of the color of their skin. He is an advocate for police brutality against African Americans in the United States. To Mr. King’s credit, he has done some good for the African American community, in shedding light on police brutality. So what’s the problem? Any of the good he has done on this particular topic, has been discredited due to his pattern of making literally anything and everything about race, warranted or not, based on projections from his past experiences, which strengthens the distrust between African Americans and white police officers, and makes him anything but impartial on the matter.
Mr. King claims was assaulted by red neck racists at his high school in rural Kentucky, just because of the color of his skin (many claim contrary, that he was in fact assaulted, but because he was dating a black girl, not any less unfortunate, still beyond disgusting, but makes you wonder what else Mr. King could be hiding. It is also known that he was marked as being Caucasian on the police report, despite claiming he is mixed race). Now because of this personal experience, Mr. King projects out on this, and doesn’t so much seek justice, as he does seek out stories that fit his race baiting narrative, based on his personal experience. Because Mr. King experienced racism first hand, (still don’t actually know what happened) he is now far more likely to believe others are out there experiencing what he did, whether this is factual or not, and his perceived belief of police injustice towards others, may be just that- a perception, and not reality.
We all want justice for those who have been treated unfairly, and have even been tragically killed in some cases, and we all want the voices to be heard that represent those who have been treated unfairly due to prejudice and racist thoughts. The problem is Black Lives Matter has gone from a justice seeking movement, to a who can shout the loudest and hate an African American for supporting Donald Trump the most contest. It has gone from fighting for racial equality, to who can write the most sinister tweet/ Facebook post about police officers competition. It has gone from a group that many in the mainstream media and general public still believe does far more good than harm, to the reality of who can scream racism due to group think the fastest. For every two or three rational thoughts that come out of the movement, there are 100 more that are filled with ignorance due to projected racism, resentment, and misinformed opinions due to pandering from politicians, and race pushing narratives from the mainstream media. Sadly and ironically, the majority of this group have become exactly what they label Donald Trump supporters as- hate-filled racists due to a high amount of ignorance and not knowing all of the facts.
The group also has a tendency to jump to conclusions before knowing all of the facts, are used by Democratic politicians all the time, and have become far more racist and hateful than they would like to lead on. This is a group where if you let them know “all lives matter” you are looked at like satan. There is perhaps no group in the country, that projects more hatred and racism then the Black Lives Matter movement, contrary to popular belief. Of course black lives matter, I know I sure feel this way considering the fact I have many black friends, and friends of all races for that matter. As I have mentioned numerous times throughout this article, I never think racist behavior from anyone, at anytime is ever acceptable. I can guarantee you however, that Black Lives Matter will tell you a different story because I am a white Donald Trump supporter (which of course isn’t projected racism due to systemic circumstances, and ignorance on Mr. Trump and what he actually stands for or anything).
Black Lives Matter, Only if you agree with them
It’s also a group filled with people that disown African Americans if they think differently then they do, as there is currently a viral video of a young 16 year old African American Donald Trump supporter being bombarded by a man more than twice his age, spewing false and ignorant information, and attacking the young Trump supporter just for thinking differently than he does. The young Trump supporter has since received dozens of death threats and disgusting comments from African Americans all over Twitter, again just because he thinks differently than they do.
Above is a series of tweets displaying the type of treatment African Americans who don’t ignorantly fall into the same line of thinking with the Black Lives Matter movement. Apparently black lives only matter, if they blindly agree with everything they say, otherwise they’re “dead” to the movement. Again, this all stemmed from a 16 year old defending himself from an antagonizing gentlemen much older than him.
“You Hate Yourself”
Milo Yiannopolous certainly agrees with this assessment, as he has been openly outspoken about what the Black Lives Matter movement really represents. Much like the liberal media, Zuckerberg, Google, and feminists throughout the country- the Black Lives Matter group can’t stand Milo, simply because he tells the truth regardless if his statements are politically correct, or pleasing to the African Americans ears. He has also routinely exposed Black Lives Matter at college campuses throughout the country, for the race hating group they have really become (not all of course, but sadly the majority). All he has to do is show up on campus, and let the Black Lives Matter protestors show their true colors.
Earlier this year while at DePaul University, Milo was scheduled to host one of his discussions as he would at any other college campus. The problem is many Black Lives Matter members don’t appreciate freedom of speech if it detracts from the narrative they’ve created, or convinced themselves is true. Outside the doors, protestors filled with ignorant rage and boisterous chants, shouted “Racists, sexists, anti-gays, right wing bigots, go away!” referring to Milo and his supporters of course. About 45 minutes into Milo’s discussion in a room filled with conservatives and Trump supporters, two African Americans, including DePaul student Edward Ward and the daughter of white hating DePaul professor Dr. Valarie C. Johnson (considered members of the “Black Lives Matter” movement), obnoxiously marched down the isle and onto the stage while blowing a whistle. In typical Milo fashion, he addressed the protestor in a way no one else could in that situation, and it was brilliant. “Hello darling” Milo greeted Ward, giggling to the side as Ward shouted nonsensical rhetoric with his female partner soon following.
Ward then rushed to the front of the stage chanting “Dump the Trump, Dump the Trump, Dump the Trump, I got all day, i got all day, I literally have all day” to a room full of resounding boos. “Milo you got to go, Milo you go to go” he demanded. His female counterpart could be seen pounding her chest and inviting physical violence while shouting expletives. Other BLM members could be seen standing in front of the stage, smiling and laughing while their “leaders” continued on with their fascist and bully like tactics, the exact type of behavior of which they accuse Trump and Milo of.
The female BLM protestor proceeded to rip the microphone from the man hosting Milo’s forum, then stormed over to Milo incessantly screaming “Whatchu got to say?, Whatchu got to say? Sh*t”, verbally assaulting him while attempting to provoke violence. In typical and brilliant Milo fashion-he calmly remained seated in his chair during the assault, stoic and silent. Milo continued to bite his lip with a look of disbelief, as the protestor started dancing with the microphone in her hand, naturally making no point of substance now that she had the forum to do so. Why is Donald Trump a racist? No, you see, facts and reasoning aren’t needed or necessary when it comes to the Black Lives Matter movement, not at all. Now that these two hate filled Black Lives Matter protestors had the time to actually make valid points, and address real concerns they have for why they believe Milo or Donald Trump are bad for the African American community, there was nothing of substance, just hollering and dancing, not to mention verbal assaults, and the attempts to provoke violence.
The video below is perhaps the best illustration of how strong and profound the misplaced anger, resentment and frustration so many African Americans in the Black Lives Matter movement have towards those who think differently then they do, as these BLM protestors at American University again disrupted Milo’s Q&A in the most rude manner possible, expecting preferential treatment, while informing the African Americans there that they hate themselves for thinking differently.
These are the types of scenes Milo has witnessed in person on an almost weekly basis, perhaps giving him the best perspective on the reality of the Black Lives Matter “movement” more so than anyone else. It isn’t so much a movement, as it is a fascist group filled with deep rooted hate for anyone who thinks differently then they do, under the false ingrained assumption that anyone supportive of Trump is a self hating African American, or ignorant white citizen with strong racist beliefs. He has seen on many occasions, Black Lives Matter members disowning all Donald Trump supporters, especially black Trump voters.
You Can’t Fix The Problem If You Wont Acknowledge What It Is
Sporting his infamous police vest and sunglasses, Yiannopolous walked up to a stage in front of a large crowd of college students, and stated the following regarding a very unfortunate but very real problem within the African American community, and how Black Lives Matter can’t fix the problem since they don’t understand the underlying causes for such circumstances and tragedies.
“Black Lives Matter doesn’t really care about black lives, as we’ll discuss shortly it’s more of a movement for attention and money and like most activism, more money. To achieve these goals they focus on cases of black men killed by the police. Well the work of Criminology, Dr. Richard Johnson at the University of Toledo explains just how futile this is, and some of this stuff is tough to, some of this stuff is not pleasant, it’s not the kind of thing that you want to discuss over cocktails but it’s important to understand the problem if you’re going to fix it, which Black Lives Matter definitely can’t. Based on 2012 numbers it would take 40 years worth of blacks killed by police to equal the total number of blacks murdered other blacks in a single year. Less than 400 people a year on average are killed by cops, 61 percent of them are white men, thirty percent are black males. Black men are not killed at a disproportionate rate when you consider they’re much more likely to interact with police. People are killed by police about as often as they are struck by lightning, but I don’t see many protests about storms.”
Milo is stating very unfortunate numbers regarding the reality of African Americans and their relationship with police officers, and this weeks protests by Black Lives Matter are just magnifying the disconnect between the reality of the situation, and how they perceive police officers as having it “out for them” due to constant race baiting by the media, as they irresponsibly do not tell the whole story. Milo is essentially stating that the message “Black Lives Matter” is contradicting their own message, since they refuse to acknowledge or go about ways to solve their own race murdering each other at an exceedingly high rate.
Instead they are only hyper focusing on cases of African Americans being killed by white officers, that spark public outrage, but don’t paint an accurate portrayal of the overall story, only fit their race victim narrative. They claim they want racial equality, and to be treated equally with white Americans , but the reality would suggest they only focus on those cases that help their cause, as they do not seem to care nearly as much about the black on black crime that has been an epidemic within black community, they don’t seem to care about other races regarding police brutality, they only seem to care about white officer vs black American crimes, even if these singular cases are very misleading to the overall picture, as the actual numbers and facts tell a completely different story.
Here are some statistics the Black Lives Matter group and democratic politicians need to address, in addition to the cases of perceived police brutality, if they really care about black lives like they claim. Now before going any further, detractors will point to white on white crime, or claim these statistics and facts are misleading because of population difference between white and blacks in America, so here are some facts and statistics that crush that argument.
- Black people commit more crimes than white people. According to the FBI, blacks committed 5,173 homicides in 2014, whereas white people committed 4,367 homicides, despite the fact that African Americans only make up for approximately 13 percent of the U.S. population.
- Chicago’s death toll from November of 2001 to November, 26 2015 was 7,401, which is almost equal to the death totals from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars combined (8,321)
- You know the perception out there that those “crazy white people” (another form of hypocritical racism) are the ones who commit all of the mass shootings? in 2016 alone, using the mass shooting definition as gun violence where at least four people have been shot and/or killed, Blacks have committed 128 mass shootings, or 71.5 percent of the total mass shootings this year alone. Just for comparison given the false perception, whites have only committed 8, or 4.5 percent of the total mass shootings.
- Black and African Americans only make up for approximately 13 percent of the population, but commit almost 50 percent of all crimes, and commit 56.9 percent of all gun homicides, 59.9 percent of all felony murders, and commit over 52 percent of all homicides. This is just more proof that paints the whole picture- African and Black Americans are more likely to encounter dangerous situations with police officers because they are more likely to commit violent crimes.
- While we’re all getting outraged over cases where African Americans are killed by police officers of other races, and we should be in the cases the shootings/killings weren’t justified , 450 whites are being killed by black people, compared to 220 black people being killed by white people. Amongst these cases was the killing of Molly Macauley, a white female professor who was stabbed to death by a black career criminal outside of her Baltimore apartment Friday, July 8th. I’m gonna take the educated guess that you will never hear her name mentioned from the mainstream media or come out of Shaun King’s mouth.
The Black Lives Matter community is driven by perceived racism and racist/prejudice behavior. These perceptions which are being driven into many African American and Black Lives Matter members heads by the mainstream media and race baiters, are giving them a false sense of reality on the situation, and stimulating anger from within, that is so deep and profound, it entices violence, or induces one to make threats to police officers throughout the country. This “movement” is more of an act to enrage based on misinformation, high ignorance, and to take revenge on those “damn white police officers”, an incredibly dangerous message, and hardly that of a racial equality, justice seeking group that they claim to be. Even many members within the group that do believe what happened in Dallas was tragic, as those police officers families have now lost a dad, husband, brother, son, etc, can “understand why it happened”, meaning they understand the assassination of five police officers because of the “war on black Americans” from police officers.
The Deray Mckesson Problem
His name is DeRay Mckesson, he is an American civil rights activist, an educator, politician, a high ranking member of the Black Lives Matter movement, but above all, Mr. Mckesson is a race narrative pushing fraud.
Mckesson was arrested this past week for obstruction of a highway, while protesting in Baton Rouge in wake of the Alton Sterling killing. The vast majority of the country and all of the Black Lives Matter movement, see an empowering African American who is sacrificing himself to push a message of racial injustice that needs repair, a very noble cause.
Those of us who’ve been paying attention see a very different story. Mckesson knows how to use social media, and what the ramifications his message could have on his loyal BLM followers. He knows how to rile his people up, and irresponsibly play to their raw emotions, all to push the narrative that police officers treat African Americans unfairly. Mckesson set the script and story into motion earlier this week in Baton Rouge, claiming “If anything happens tonight, it was caused by the police. Everyone has been peaceful tonight but them”, and then went onto repeat similar messages to make his point, conveniently before being arrested. President Obama was so inspired apparently, that he’s now invited him to the White House to talk about racial issues in the United States.
Mckesson suddenly showed up onto the public scene after the death of Michael Brown, which caused him to join in on the Ferguson protests. Thats because Deray is the face of the Soros paid for protestors, which is designed to give the American general public the perception that racial tensions are high in the country, all to continue to get Democratic politicians elected, the same Democratic politicians who haven’t solved any of the systemic or economic problems for African Americans for decades. Mckesson has been tied to George Soros for over a decade.
Above, is a list of some of the names of the paid for protestors in Ferguson, MO, who were paid to “protest” the streets, and had their “supplies” paid for by the one and only George Soros. They were part of the Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment organization (MORE), which is a group paid for by Mr. Soros. MORE was one of the groups that received a share of the $33 million, billionaire George Soros contributed towards the Black Lives Matter movement. One of the “faces” of the Black Lives Matter movement has motives that are questionable at best.
I am Your Leader
Yusra Khogali, from Toronto Canada, sent out an interesting message earlier in the year for all of her followers to take note of, which stated, “Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. PLz plz plz”. Sadly, racist and threatening tweets like these from African Americans and Black Lives Matter members towards the white community are all too common in the social media world, especially twitter, and even embraced. The thing that makes this message or tweet different from the other ones you see all too frequently, is that this message came from one of the Black Lives Matter co-founders. Yes, a co-founder of the movement that is supposed to strive for racial equality wrote this unquestionably racist message. If this is something one of their leaders is willing to post out for the public to see, what do you think she is saying behind closed doors, and thinking to herself at night?
The tweet above is just one of the many disturbing messages and tweets conservatives across the country have seen, and media members, democrats and racial activists have turned a blind eye to. If one of the leaders of this movement is sending this message out on the Internet, what do you think the high majority of Black Lives Matter members are saying to each other in private, which leads me to ask, who are the real racists here exactly? This foreshadowing of behavior is sadly just the tip of the iceberg.
The domino effect
This disconcerting trend (to say the least) has only worsened in response to the recent police shootings. People all over the internet are freely speaking their mind, threatening police officers. Again if we have this many Black Lives Matter members, or supporters, making some of these appalling posts, how can one argue this group is truly for racial equality- that’s clearly not what this movement is about anymore, it’s all but become a terrorist organization. Detractors currently reading this will tell you this is not reflective of all Black Lives Matter members, while also informing the American people that the two videos that made the viral rounds last week, are reflective of how police officers feel about all African Americans. The race baiting, lying mainstream media and ignorance from the Black Lives Matter movement is literally allowing this all to happen before our own eyes.
Here are just some of the disturbing tweets calling for the killings of cops in response to the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. No these tweets do not reflect all of Black Lives Matters thoughts, not at all, but they do show what pushing false narratives can do to a portion of their “movement”, and just how dangerous it can be, and makes people wonder, if so many supporters are posting these types of thoughts on popular social media networks, what are the Black Lives Matter members who aren’t posting such statements to the public, thinking subconsciously?. It also shows that contrary to popular belief, racism exists outside of Donald Trump supporters.
The message from the BLM community has even reached the sports world. Earlier this week, Cleveland Brown’s Running Back Isaiah Crowell was so outraged by the two police officer killings of Sterling and Castile, that he posted an Instagram displaying his clear disgust with the situation. A message that is picking up momentum within the black community, and perpetuated by the majority of Black Lives Matter members- which is, we need to take matters into our own hands. This message has resonated even with high profile and popular public figures such as Crowell, one of the best players on the Cleveland Browns football team, and a very popular player in the Cleveland community.
In the photo above is a purely disgusting animation of a police officer being beheaded. A message such as Crowell’s could have a massive effect on the African American community, considering the amount of influence professional athletes have on people in our society. Now young impressionable African Americans that look up to him, will have all the more reason to believe police officers are out to kill blacks in America, and violent behavior back towards a police officer is completely justified in retaliation to the killings of Sterling and Castile.
It is obvious that posts such as these put police officers who are already being scrutinized in every which way possible, in an even more difficult situation, as they don’t only have to fear being labeled a racist, they now have to fear for their lives.
When you have highly influential black lives matter members and leaders, in addition to athletes such as Crowell sending racist and violent messages, these feelings are going to resonate with many African Americans throughout the country, and followers are going to take action.
In retaliation to the Alton Sterling killing, three black men set out a plot to kill Baton Rouge police officers for what they perceived as injustice to Alton Sterling. Baton Rouge locals, Trashone Coats, Malik Bridgewater, and Antonio Thomas came up with a plan to kill the local police officers, using guns stolen at a nearby pawn shop.
This past Saturday, the three men broke in through the ceiling of a pawn shop to retrieve 8 handguns to pull off the murdering spree. Seventeen year old Antonio Thomas was stopped by police officers after the robbery took place, when he told them he was looking for bullets for the handguns, to “cause harm” to the local Baton Rouge officers. The police officers took this as a viable threat, and were able to arrest the men on the lookout for revenge, and prevent a potential disastrous situation from occurring.
The message that officers are prejudiced towards African Americans made its way down to Tyler Gebhard, a Black Lives Matter activist from Saint Louis, MO. The 20 year old former high school football standout, made threatening remarks via his Facebook to a local police officer that he attended church with every Sunday, voicing his displeasure with how officers treat the black community, and the “uninvolved members of the community” referring to the mans family.
Gebhard who was a Black Lives Matter activist, made good on his threats to the officer through Facebook, after he went over to his house and threw a 50-pound concrete planter through the window of the the mans residence, before breaking in. The officers wife, two young children, and mother in law struggled to escape for their life, before the cop and homeowner gunned the Black Lives Matter supporter down.
These are just some of the ramifications and effects that spreading misinformation, and having BLM leaders, and highly influential athletes can have on impressionable African Americans, which can lead to deadly consequences.
Who Needs Facts?
Remember one of the incidents I referred to earlier… one of the incidents that caused the Dallas killer to tragically take the lives of 5 innocent police officers (or so we think), and one of the two main stories to cause such public outrage from the Black Lives Matter community? It looks like they may have jumped the gun on the Philando Castile situation, as we are still waiting for all of the facts to come out. In addition to this, it looks like the Black Lives Matter movement may have jumped to conclusions too quickly on the Alton Sterling case as well.
These viral videos and images i’m referring to sparked an immediate outrage from Democratic politicians, influential celebrities like The Weekend, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and the black justice group Black Lives Matter. As usual however, the social and racial justice warriors jumped to conclusions before allowing all of the facts to come out. While they were informing conservatives and doubters across the country that far too many police officers have it out for African and black Americans , we we’re pointing to facts that tell an entirely different story, and informed them they were once again, sucked in by the emotional appeal of race baiting.
In regards to the Castile shooting video, I kept asking myself, do we only have video of the aftermath of the shooting, or is there actual video evidence, that shows the course of events as they happened? What exactly was it that I was missing, that these outraged Black Lives Matter protestors apparently had access to. This can’t honestly be all we see to spark such public outrage from Black Lives Matter, can it?
The woman claimed they were pulled over for a simple broken tail-light. This has turned out to be completely false. They were not pulled over for a broken tail-light like Ms. Reynolds stated, but because Castile matched the description profile of an armed robbery suspect, for an armed robbery that took place on July 2nd, (or just four days earlier), at a convenience store just a few blocks down from where the car was puled over. The cops were asked to be on the lookout for the suspect the day before the unfortunate shooting occurred.
Whether or not Castile was the man in the photo below robbing a convenience store at gunpoint, we do know that the officer had just reason to pull the two over, and we know Ms. Reynolds lied about it…which leads me to ask, what else aren’t we being told?
If you wan’t to make the argument that the officer was racially profiling that may be plausible, (or assumptions based on misplaced projection) however the two were spotted just blocks down from where the robbery occurred, and one could understand the reasonable conclusion the officer came to in thinking he may have just found his suspect, based on the real similarities between the photo and Castile, and not because of racist thoughts or racial profiling. We also know that no one has officially been charged with the actual robbery, which isn’t proof Mr. Castile is guilty of it, but it is proof that you cannot claim this was an act of racism without acknowledging that it’s possible he was involved in illegal activity just a few days prior.
Remember now, we have zero footage of that actual event, yet this is the woman all of America is supposed to believe, and this is the women the mainstream media and Black Lives Matter has gotten behind. This doesn’t make me feel less sorry for Mr. Castile’s family, and it certainly doesn’t make his death less unfortunate, but it does give me reason to doubt this woman’s take on what really went down, as there are far more questions than certainties, but apparently that’s irrelevant to the Black Lives Matter group. Again this is not suggesting Mr. Castile robbed a bank at gunpoint, or was justly shot, not at all, this is to illustrate a common pattern within the BLM community, where they allow themselves to get emotionally caught up in an event, and jump to conclusions, before we even have the information we need to assess the situation, and this isn’t the only case they did this with.
In addition to this, we have now found out that Alton Sterling, who was killed in front of a convenience store last week, had similar brushes with police officers before. Documents show that in May of 2009, Sterling had a very similar situation to the one that resulted in his death, as he fought with cops outside of a convenience store, while he was selling CD’s, while carrying a gun. Not only that, but according to the police report from seven years ago, Sterling pulled a gun on the arresting officer. As for the actual incident that occurred this weekend, the arresting officers claim Sterling reached for his gun in his pocket, while the officers were restraining him. The officers are 100 percent certain the shooting was more than justified. Detractors will say that this is just another case of police corruption, and officers covering for each other, while i’m saying look at what happened in Ferguson and Baltimore before making that claim.
How did we even get here? How did we get to the point where half the country just assumed these crimes were both racially motivated and unjustified despite zero proof. Race baiters such as Shaun King will continue to push stories he hasn’t fully fact checked, such as the one that occurred in Ferguson, MO, two years ago, all to push a self serving narrative, and do a disservice to actual justice that is needed. Again we have no idea what happened. Remember now, these are the two stories the BLM movement ran with, and we have no idea what happened. Proving my point once again that the BLM loves to rush to judgement and conclusions, before allowing any of the facts to play out.
BLM and Shaun King lovers reading this will probably doubt my words, call me ignorant, call me racist, but one thing I wholeheartedly know to be true- is that these thoughts couldn’t be farther from the truth. I have zero tolerance for racism or ignorance from anyone, but I also happen to have zero tolerance for race baiting from the mainstream media and Black Lives Matter. So while Shaun King continues to bang his keyboard in fake outrage based on false information and race baiting, and Hillary Clinton stands in front of her mirror attempting to convince herself she cares about the African American community and is appreciative of police officers throughout the country, there are millions of people that are catching on to whats really been going on here, and we’re getting tired of it- as it is actually a disservice to African Americans and police officers throughout the country. It is extremely dangerous and irresponsible to falsely run with stories all for the sake of race baiting and playing into raw emotions of millions of African American people throughout the country.
Haven’t we seen this script before? Protesters from the Black Lives Matter movement broke out into the streets just two years ago in Ferguson, MO, after 18 year old African American Michael Brown was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson. Before officer Wilson was given his due justice, the general public found him guilty based on misinformed opinions and lack of factual evidence, to which ignorant and deplorable behavior followed. The residents of Ferguson, MO and Black Lives Matter protestors burned their own town down to the ground, before knowing what even really happened. As facts started to slowly but surely come out, it became apparent that Mr. Brown was hardly a saint, as he reached for Mr. Wilson’s gun, to which the officer shot his hand. When the 18 year old charged towards Officer Wilson , he shot and killed the young man out of reasonable self defense. The Black Lives Matter movement also inappropriately and irresponsibly ran with the “Hands up, don’t shoot” theory, which claimed Michael Brown innocently put his hands up and surrendered, implying officer Wilson recklessly shot and killed him due to racism and/or racist thoughts, which was a lie. This was again, a story the mainstream media picked up, and ran with, despite not having the facts to back their side. This past week would suggest the Black Lives Matter movement hasn’t learned anything from their past behavior, and the ramifications it could have on the American people and police officers throughout the country, not to mention their own lack of progress.
In April of 2015, 25 year old African American Freddie Gray was transported in a police van after being arrested in Baltimore, MD. During the car ride, Gray tragically slipped into a coma, which led police officers to take him to the local trauma center. After clinging to life for a full week, the 25 year old Gray passed away due to injuries to his spinal cord. Various eyewitnesses claimed the police officers involved in the arrest used excessive force on Mr. Gray, and the medical investigation found that Gray sustained the injuries while in the vehicle. On May 1st the Baltimore City State’s attorney, Marilyn Mosby, announced her office had filed charges against the six police officers involved in the arrest, after the examiner had ruled the incident a homicide.
What followed was unrest, similar to what took place in Ferguson, MO, as protestors took to the streets rioting, even going as far as to set a CVS on fire, after which the Mayor of Baltimore decided to declare a state of emergency. Just like in Ferguson, it looks like the protestors may have jumped to conclusions, and even worse, Marilyn Mosby may have pressed charges before having all the facts needed to press such charges. To this day we still don’t exactly know what happened, but it’s clear Mosby irresponsibly assumed the six police officers to be guilty, all to satisfy the protestors unrest and push the same narrative being pushed this week, while throwing six police officers under the bus (three of whom were black by the way). To this point none of the officers have been found guilty, two have been found innocent, and Ms. Mosby has been met with harsh criticism, with some calling her decisions regarding the case incompetent and reckless. Well known attorney Allan Dershowitz claimed she severely overcharged to put an end to the protests. Remember now, this was a case that caused Black Lives Matter protestors to burn down Baltimore. Seeing a pattern?
The Ferguson, MO case was based on a false narrative, a false narrative that caused public outrage and for a city to burn its own town down, a case that made African Americans throughout the country cry racism, and it was all based on the “Hands up, don’t shoot” theory, a theory that was a flat out lie. The Freddie Gray case had a prosecutor that jumped to conclusions before knowing all of the facts, only to satisfy the outraged protestors that were acting out of rage due to the misinformation being spread, and the false public guilt of six police officers, officers who were found guilty before being given a fair trial, much like Officer Wilson in Ferguson. Two of the officers have been found not guilty, as Ms. Mosby continues to show, she may have let the emotions get the best of her. Then the two cases earlier this week have followed an eerily similar pattern. Videos were shown, judgements were made, emotions got the best of Americans and social and racial just warriors, and stories were again ran with. We don’t know if Sterling was justly shot or not, and we don’t know what really happened with Castile. What we do know, is that we have just as much reason to doubt both cases, as we have to believe they were unjustly killed. We also know they were not killed because of racism, the theory that is being ingrained in millions of minds today, and causing much of the same public outrage.
Black Lives Matter is a danger to society, and continues to push messages based on stories containing false narratives. It is a group that claims the world is racist, when it often shows it true colors of having members that are more racist themselves than those they accuse of being racist. It is a group that is filled with projected racism, members with clouded judgement based on past experiences, members that call for the killing of cops, members that call for the death to white people, members that protest the streets claiming racism, while making these claims based on false stories. It also a group that has leaders with questionable intentions at best, and doesn’t understand it’s being used by the likes of billionaire George Soros, and Democratic politicians throughout the country. The Black Lives Matter movement, is a big part of the reason the false narrative, “police officers treat African Americans worse than other races” is resonating with millions of Americans right now.
Here are some statistics that may shed some light on the reality of the relationship between black United States citizens and police officers.
Facts Regarding Cops and Black Americans, Turn Away Shaun King, Barack Obama and Black Lives Matter.
- As tragic as some of these cases may be, and the cases that a police officer abuses their power and acts in an unjustly manner need to be held accountable just like any other U.S. citizen, these types of incidents make up for approximately 0.0003 percent of all law enforcement activity. Yes the cases that are getting the majority of major news network coverage are misleading America into thinking police officers have it out for African Americans.
- Out of all the people shot dead by police officers in the United States in 2016 so far, 24 percent have been black, or a total of 122, compared to the 235 white people that have been killed by police officers, totaling 47 percent. White United States citizens have been killed by police officers at nearly double the rate of black citizens in 2016 so far. Shouldn’t white lives matter to police officers as well?
- Out of the 492 total people killed by police officers in 2016, only 3 percent where unarmed African Americans, which equals the 3 percent of white unarmed Americans that were shot and killed by police officers. This statistic doesn’t suggest any racial profiling at all, as police officers are killing unarmed whites and blacks at the same rate.
- According to a Department of Justice report in 2015 regarding the Philadelphia Police Department, and backed up by a study conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, blacks are 3.3 times more likely to fire back at a police officer than any other race, which would obviously lead to more violent conclusions, and suggests that black and African Americans respect police authority less than other races.
- So if African Americans are racially profiled, and unjustly arrested and targeted, and are 3.3 times more likely to fire back than other races, how is it possible that 133 more white people have been killed by police officers than African Americans in 2016 so far?
- In 2015 -Out of all the white and Hispanic homicides, 12 percent were caused by police officers. Only 4 percent of all black homicides were caused by police officers, which suggests that perhaps there isn’t as much of a racism issue within the cop community regarding black citizens as Beyonce, Hillary Clinton, Shaun King and the BLM movement would like for everyone to believe, but rather the African and Black American communities murder their own race at an extraordinarily high rate.
- According to the FBI, 40 percent of cop killers are black.
- According to the FBI, a police officer is 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black person than an unarmed black person is to be killed by a cop.
- According to the Washington Post, 50 percent of fatal police shootings in 2015 were of white people, whereas only 26 percent of the fatal police shootings were of African Americans. Given that blacks only make up approximately 12 percent of the U.S. population, one could argue that this actually shows racist behavior from cops. However when you consider the fact that black and African Americans committed 75 percent of all shootings, 70 percent of all robberies, and 66 percent of all violent crime in New York City, despite making up only 23 percent of the city’s population, it suggests that blacks are committing crime at a higher rate and these numbers might precipitate more violence from police officers towards African Americans.
- 72 percent of African/black Americans grow up in homes that are fatherless. Perhaps because 72 percent of black and African Americans grow up without a fatherly figure, and without a father in general, they grow up not trusting people, not anyone – cops included. I know that if I grew up without a dad I would be a lot less trusting of people, if you can’t count on your family who can you count on? Perhaps this is a large part of the reason African and black Americans are 3.3 times more likely to fire back at a police officer than any other race- they simply don’t trust them, because they don’t trust most men in their life. Perhaps this is also more proof that the violence that does occur between Police officers and African Americans, occur because they are more likely to fire back, and not because the cops have it out for them due to racism. This isn’t me poking light at a very sad and unfortunate situation regarding black America, this is me being upset for them. We need to get real about the situation.
- There are currently over 1.1 million police officers in the United States of America. These are men that put their lives at risk every single day they are on the job. It is easy for us to judge from a distance, while they have to deal with the reality of putting their lives at risk, not knowing what any moment could soon bring while out on duty. It is impossible to believe that out of the 1.2 million men that consistently face dangerous situations, people aren’t going to be killed, African Americans included. When you consider the fact that African Americans are more likely to disobey police officers, and are more likely to fire back- you are going to have incidents occur not because of racism, but because of the likelihood of violence.
- African Americans that do commit crimes are 5-10 times more likely to put themselves in close proximity to mostly white police officers. More evidence that you would expect there to be more violent confrontation between white police officers and African Americans.
- A statistic recently done this year regarding shoot don’t shoot situations, showed that officers now take longer to decide to shoot an armed black suspect, than an armed white suspect, and they’re less likely to shoot an unarmed black suspect, then an unarmed white suspect. So the Black Lives Matter movement is pushing a false narrative that puts cops in a very difficult situation, as they are now feared of being labeled as a racist, which puts themselves and others in more unnecessary danger. Considering the Ferguson, MO situation where Officer Wilson was found guilty by the Black Lives Matter movement, facts notwithstanding, in addition to the already unfair perception of police officers from African Americans throughout the country, could you really blame them for being a little trigger shy? The Castile situation just puts more of a magnifying glass on police officers who already have to constantly make split second decisions to save lives.
We live in a society where the mainstream media, Democratic politicians, and Black Lives Matter movement has picked up, and run with stories where the circumstances regarding the particular situation are often suspect at best, which inappropriately puts police officers through the country in a more difficult position and vulnerable spot. These numbers and facts make it very hard to make the argument police officers target and unjustly kill African Americans at a disproportionate rate. We have also created a society where if you list facts and use rationale, you are labeled as an ignorant racist, due to the spread of misinformation, ignorance, and lies to keep false race narratives going.
Remember when I made a reference to the power of Google and their manipulative powers in an earlier article? Google is able to deliver information to the American people in the blink of an eye, and once they see links pop up before a full second ticks off the clock, subconscious thoughts become ingrained, whether they are based on facts or not, and permanent beliefs and decisions are made. When you have every major news network and social media forum displaying the same video over and over again, it’s gonna add fuel to the narrative for so many African Americans that there is a disproportionate amount of racism from police officers towards African Americans, even though the facts suggest otherwise. Black Lives Matter worshipers and members will continue to get riled up and go “see I told you those white cops had it out for us” , while pointing to a video that is loaded with questionable circumstances that doesn’t tell the whole story as their evidence, not to mention how misleading these few videos are to the overall grand scheme of things.
Rather then using rational thoughts, facts, and listening to all sides of the story, it is far easier for the mainstream media and democratic politicians to jump to conclusions that push certain agendas, all while irresponsibly strengthening the divide between African Americans and police officers throughout the country. If we’re gonna advance our country we need to have an honest and open discussion about it, not continue to push false narratives that the numbers and facts don’t support, all the while ignoring the massive systemic elements. There is not one rational person in this country who wants to see someone unjustly killed, regardless of race. Racism is a real thing, but it comes from all races- this much I am certain of, and there is zero proof that a disproportionate amount of violence comes from white officers towards African Americans-zero. The only way we’re gonna be able to advance as a nation however, is by telling the truth, something we’re still very far from accomplishing- perhaps more than ever before. The Black Lives Matter movement isn’t helping anyones cause, contrary to popular belief, and they’re certainly not telling the truth. Perhaps black Americans don’t wanna look at the facts because it suddenly becomes too real, and sheds light on their reality, so why not finger point and blame others since that’s what society has taught us to do in 2016, isn’t that what Obama, Shaun King and Black Lives Matter have been doing all along?
“Donald Trump’s a Racist”
On June 16 2015, Donald Trump walked up the stairs up onto a podium to do something many believed he would never do. At his Trump Tower in Manhattan New York- wearing a dark blue suit, his famous red Trump tie with a United States of America flag pin attached, he announced his candidacy to run for the republican nomination to become the President of the United States of America. He claimed “We need someone that literally will take this country and make it great again. We can do that,” and then went on to utter the seemingly unthinkable “So ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States”. The man many viewed as nothing more than an outspoken real estate mogul turned reality star, was throwing his name into a basket to run the country we live in and become our commander in chief. The man perhaps most famous for the phrase “You’re Fired” was now eyeing down the most important job in the world, and as both surprising and newsworthy as his bid was, it apparently wasn’t even the most shocking/eye opening thing to come out of his mouth that day.
During his speech announcing his bid to become the Republican Presidential nominee – he talked about the importance of bringing jobs back to America, the need to re-strengthen our military, how we need to focus on taking care of the veterans who have fought for our very freedom yet have been abandoned by the last few presidential regimes, and of course, he coined the now infamous slogan that you see on the front of red hats, on the back of cars, and signs across lawns throughout the country “Make America Again”. As usual he captivated the audience he stood in front of, delivered energy that could be felt throughout the room, and brought hope to millions of people across the country. He also brought up the polarizing and controversial, yet necessary topic of immigration and the importance of re-strengthening our border. In doing so Trump brought up Mexico- a country filled with citizens crossing the border at a tremendous rate to “seek opportunities” in the “Land of the free” by coming to the United States of America. “When Mexico sends it’s people they’re not sending their best” Trump claimed during his presidential bid speech. He continued “They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re (their?) rapists, and some I assume are good people”. Game, set, match, curtain closed, and end scene. With that one comment the narrative Donald Trump is an immigrant hating racist was in full drive, and perhaps his campaign to live on Pennsylvania Avenue, was over before it begun. The narrative was set in place for the next 12 months, Donald Trump is a racist regardless of what the actual facts may suggest.
Much like the Black Lives Matter movement that jumps to the same scripted conclusion of racism, even though the reality and factual information tell a different story, the mainstream media decided to pick up and run with Donald Trumps polarizing words, and label him as a hate mongering racist. The amount of people that still genuinely believe Donald Trump is a racist, is simply mind-numbingly frightening. Much like the narrative the mainstream media and Black Lives Matter movement is currently pushing out-that police officers are racists with hidden agendas towards African and Black Americans, the idea or narrative that Donald Trump is a racist in any way shape or form is simply a lie.
As I have stated before in previous articles, Mr. Trump’s statement on immigrants coming over from Mexico were anything but politically correct, and one could even argue they were highly offensive, but it was simply Donald Trump speaking about an American issue currently taking place in the United States of America in the most Donald Trump way possible- telling perhaps too much of the truth about a very real problem while using zero filter. The truth of the matter is, Mr. Trump was referring to illegal immigrants and only illegal immigrants, something much of America still hasn’t caught on to sadly (most likely because they are constantly being lied to by the likes of Google, Facebook, the mainstream media news networks and race baiters like Shaun King and the Black Lives Matter movement).
The idea that Donald Trump is a racist, is the most asinine story to come up this election cycle (well maybe second to Hillary Clinton telling the American people she has been as transparent as anyone she knows regarding her e-mail scandal).
When Mr. Trump called for a temporary ban on Muslims from entering the country, until we can implement a more safe and secure system that prevents us from unknowingly allowing terrorists into our own country, that was just the nail in the coffin for race baiters and social and racial justice warriors in America- “Donald Trump’s a racist!” could be heard from every mainstream media news outlet, politicians from both sides of the isle, and the protestors that are currently marching the streets for the Black Lives Matter movement, are much of the same group that has been attending Trump’s rallies, “protesting” the event, when in reality they’re just taking part in ignorant nonsensical rhetoric, and letting just about every person sporting a red “Make America Great Again” cap that he or she is a racist, with zero interest in hearing their rebuttal as to why they are not racists. Almost no rationale discourse comes from the Anti Trump protestor side, much the same way little to no rationale discourse comes from these Black Lives Matter protestors.
Once you take a step back from the constant lies from the mainstream media and Democratic politicians, and the emotional appeal of race baiting that so many Americans allow themselves to get swept up by, you realize this simply couldn’t be farther from the truth.
What did Donald Trump mean exactly by his comments on Mexicans? He was simply stating (again in the most Donald Trump was possible) that illegal immigrants are coming over illegally at an extraordinarily high rate (and easily), due to the current administrations soft stance on border control. These illegal immigrants are forcing hard working Americans to pay for their free government assisted rides through their hard earned tax dollars. They are also bringing drugs over at an extraordinarily high rate, just as Mr. Trump said. Also for the record- illegal immigrants aren’t a race, they are people who flee to our country and knowingly break our American laws- sorry social and racial justice warriors. Here are some statistics that shed light on why Mr. Trump is implementing his stricter border policies, which is because he simply wants to ensure the American peoples best interest first, and not because he’s a racist.
- According to the Washington Times, as of 2014, three out of every four federal drug crimes were committed by illegal immigrants. Proving that perhaps Mr. Trump is 100 percent correct about the problem that is Illegals bringing in drugs into our country (he is).
- The number of people prosecuted for coming into the country illegally after being deported has increased by over 175 percent since 2005.
- The illegals that are coming into this country are accomplishing it fairly easily, suggesting that our border is far from secure. According to The United Nations, 97 percent of illegal immigrants who enter the United States secretly- do so across the nearly 2,000 mile Mexican border, but only 20 percent of those who cross illegally are caught.
- Kate Steinle was an innocent, happy 32 year old before she was senselessly murdered on the San Francisco pier last summer by Juan Francisco Sanchez. Random murders happen all the time in this country unfortunately, but Steinle’s killer was an illegal immigrant who had been deported from the country and came back five different times before committing the tragic crime.
- Just earlier this week, Bonifacio Oseguera-Gonzalez murdered three people on a blueberry farm in Oregon. Again, senseless murders occur all too often in the United States, however Oserguera-Gonzalez was an illegal immigrant who had been deported from the United States and came back six times since 2003. More proof that Mr. Trump is correct in his assessment that the U.S. border is currently far from secure, and is simply not getting the job done.
- In The United States of America, taxpayers are currently spending over $84 billion annually, yes $84 billion dollars a year on illegal immigration. In he state of California alone, they spent over $23.5 billion on illegal immigrants in 2014. That is hard earned money, being spent on people that broke our American laws and our now being gifted government handouts and assistance such as disability, public housing,EBT cards etc. They are essentially being rewarded for breaking the laws of this country.
These are just a few of the illegal immigration statistics and facts I have at my disposal, but once you get through reading them, it becomes very apparent that Mr. Trump is correct in his assessment that we need more secure border control, and it is not because he is a racist, but because it would be in the best interest of the American people, as we would no longer be wasting our hard earned tax dollars on illegal immigrants who break our American laws, and it would put an end to the influx of drugs, many illegal immigrants have been brining over. Of course illegal immigrants aren’t even a race, proving once again how mind-numbingly ignorant, and flat out false this narrative has been for the last 12 months.
The assertion that Mr. Trump is racist due to his call to temporally ban Muslims from entering the country until we can implement a more safe and secure system that prevents us from unknowingly allowing terrorists into the country, is equally as asinine. First of all, the vast majority of these Muslim refugees that are coming over, are doing so with no form of identification, making it simply impossible to ensure they’re not connected to terrorism or terrorist groups such as ISIS. The most common rebuttal to the temporary Muslim ban is the whole “you can’t put all Muslims into one category, or punish all Muslims for the horrible actions of a few”, however when it comes to one or two videos surfacing on social media, Black Lives Matter can boldly claim how racist police officers are, despite the actual facts, and underlying systemic factors telling a completely different story, interesting logic there guys. Not only that, but Mr. Trump has stated on numerous occasions how he doesn’t believe all Muslims are bad people, not close, going as far as to say how many Muslim friends he has. There are however, some disturbing trends that illustrate the Muslim religion isn’t as peaceful as BLM and the liberal community would like for us to believe. There are actual reasons Mr. Trump called for this temporary ban proposal, and they have nothing to do with race. Oh and again- Muslims aren’t even a race, its a religion, but whose keeping score? Here are some statistics and factors to consider when thinking about Mr. Trump’s policy proposal.
- In a gallup poll recently conducted in the UK, 1001 Muslims were asked if they find homosexual behavior acceptable or morally ok. Out of the 1001 Muslims polled, zero said yes, that find it morally ok.
- The Orlando Killer that senselessly took the lives of 50 people at the gay nightclub Pulse, was a Muslim born to Afghan parents.
- In Afghanistan, where the father of the Orlando killer was from and ran for President- 39 percent of Muslims find suicide bombings sometimes justifiable.
- 25 Percent of Muslims in Turkey (where suicide bombings just killed 44 people) find suicide bombings sometimes justifiable.
- ISIS has claimed responsibility for the last two terrorist tragedies in Orlando and Istanbul, Turkey.
- At least six of the killers in the Paris Attack tragedy that took the lives of 130 people, were Syrian Muslim refugees.
- 21 Percent of Syrian Muslim residents support or have positive thoughts about ISIS
This is a very small snipet of information, illustrating how potentially dangerous allowing Muslim refugees into our country with no new screening measures in place, could be for the American people, something Hillary Clinton seems to believe is in the best interest of the American people, as she wants to allow 65,000 a year, all in the name of political correctness, and race pandering. Considering that a survey done by pew research concluded that 13-25 percent of Muslims from eight Muslim dominated regions had positive thoughts about terrorism or terrorist ideas, and that over 1 in every 5 Syrians have positive thoughts about ISIS, allowing 65,000 a year seems asinine to me, and to Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is simply putting this temporary ban up to protect the American people, not because he’s a racist. Just a few weeks ago the UK voted out of the European Union, essentially shouting from the mountain top that they too, wanted to take their country back due to the mass muslim refugee immigration problems they were facing, is the UK racist as well?
It was mid April, 2016. I was able to leave work early, as I quickly packed up my bag and went out the door. I was on my way to see Donald Trump speak in person at his rally at a local University, just forty minutes or so from my hometown. I had two main missions in going to this event. I wanted to see Donald Trump speak and electrify thousands of people in person and maybe even get a “Lyin Ted!” chant going. Primarily though, I wanted to find out if I was missing something regarding the whole “Donald Trump is a racist” narrative- the narrative that bothered me more than anything due to my refusal to ever support a candidate if I genuinely believed he/she was a racist. Like most Donald Trump rallies, this event was packed with patriotic people sporting the colors red, white and blue. Despite leaving hours before the even was set to start, I had no shot of making it into the stadium.
Initially discouraged, I decided to partake in the “anti-Trump protestors vs Trump Supporters” discourse that was taking place in the middle of the campus. I decided this was the moment I could finally find out what it was I had been missing regarding Mr. Trump being a racist, as I demanded that the Trump supporters quiet down in order to peacefully ask the anti-Trump protestors absent noise a series of questions. “How is Donald Trump a racist?” I would ask, as I was stared down by dozens of people sporting Bernie 2016 and Black Lives Matter shirts. Just confused stares, but no words, I asked again, “How is Donald Trump a racist?” Finally an African American male responded, “how is Donald Trump a racist? How is Donald Trump a racist? Man F__k you white boy”. Not really thinking that answered my question, I decided to ask again, about ten minutes later, “How is Donald Trump a racist?”. I got absolutely nothing, just confused looks like they thought it was so obvious he was racist, but then when it actually came to explaining why, it was silence. The only noise I did hear, was from the three African American males shouting at the black Trump supporter standing next to me “Why are you over there, get your as_ over here”, similar to what Milo has seen in person all too often. As an African American in the United States, you are apparently not permitted to think differently, not particularly open minded or tolerant.
This is what happens when you irresponsibly run with stories, all in the name of playing the race card to push stale self serving agendas, while falsely making millions of people believe that Donald Trump is a racist, much the same way millions of Americans think Black Lives Matter is still a good cause, and that police officers are openly racist towards African Americans.
Not a full week had passed since my experience at the rally before someone who actually knew Mr. Trump personally agreed with my assessment that Mr. Trump is anything but a racist. She also had the same mindset as mine, claiming she would never support someone she thought was capable of being a racist, being that her father is an African American. Her name is Lynne Patton, and she works for the Trump organization helping out with fundraising. She goes on to explain in great detail that not only is Mr. Trump not a racist, but just how special he and his family are. This of course is someone who actually personally knows the man and his family, not Shaun King, not CNN, not Mark Zuckerberg or George Clooney… someone who has personally interacted with him and been on the inside to witness how the Trump family really feels. It was the last evidence of validation I needed. I was right, Mr. Trump is not a racist, not now, not ever, he is in fact a wonderful man.
What exactly has Donald Trump said or done regarding African and black Americans that is racist? Donald Trump supporters across the country and myself have seen little proof (have we seen any?) that Donald Trump has racist thoughts towards African Americans. Katrina Pierson, Ben Carson, Don King, Omarosa, Mike Tyson, 50 cent, Ice Cube, Stacey Dash, and Lynne Patton, just to name a few off the top of my head, certainly don’t seem to think he has something against African Americans. Want to rebuttal and claim they don’t count because they are millionaires who can’t relate to the every day African American? Thats fine, but then why are you listening to Beyonce (the same Beyonce who pays her hard working assistants frighteningly low salaries), Jay Z, The Weekend, Mark Zuckerberg, and voting for Hillary Clinton?
Are we sure there isn’t some ingrained subconscious racism and deep rooted resentment coming from African Americans towards Donald Trump? Ah, Trump Ignorance as i’ve coined the term- which is to say we have created a society where someone in our country must be racist. This belief doesn’t need proof, logic, evidence or anything, but we live in a country where we have to make someone racist, so why not label the outspoken truth-teller who also happens to be a very successful white conservative as the racist? Isn’t that what politicians have been doing for decades, labeling the Republican as a racist?
Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have had to make Mr. Trump a racist, in order to pander to the African American and minority vote. That’s why Mrs. Clinton has been constantly using the term “immigrants” instead of illegal immigrants, when referring to Mr. Trump’s illegal immigration policy. Clinton knows how to play the political game, and she knew if she kept vaguely referring to “immigrants”, it would rile up a major portion of the American voter base, and give off the perception Mr. Trump is an immigrant hating racist, when in reality he wants to protect the American people form having to unnecessarily pay for people that knowingly breaking our laws, bring in drugs at an excessive rate, and commit violent crimes.
In a society where we’ve taught each other it’s better to deflect, then it is to look in the mirror and take responsibility, lets all shift our misguided frustrations and resentment regarding our personal lives towards Donald Trump, even though there is no proof he is racist, much the same way Black Lives Matter is shifting their resentment and frustration towards police officers currently. Isn’t it amazing how so many African Americans and social and racial justice warriors across the country, “know” Donald Trump is racist, yet the ones who actually know the man personally claim quite the opposite?
Bill Clinton the former Democratic President has used the term “super predators” when referring to black people on numerous occasions, yet is considered the “first black president” by millions of African Americans , despite his clear display of subconscious racism. If he is willing to use the term “super predators” in public, what do you think Bill and his wife are saying behind closed doors… who do we really think the real racist is? Sadly the ones stomping, shouting and screaming currently while protesting and informing the American people that black lives matter, believe it is Donald Trump, what does this tell you?
Racism still exists in America, and it’s something that needs to be addressed, but in the proper manner. This means conversation coming from both sides of the isle, white, black, police officers, politicians- everyone. This means police officers looking at themselves in the mirror, and owning up to the mistakes its men may have made, and taking the proper action, and not covering for each other. It means African Americans looking into their mirror as well, and acknowledging this really isn’t about police officers having it out for the black community, as much as it is deeper rooted systemic issues that need to be addressed, and possible projection and misplaced resentment from within towards police officers, Donald Trump, and his supporters. It’s also about white people like myself, acknowledging that I don’t know what the struggle of the everyday African American can be like. Politicians from both parties need to be honest with themselves, and ask if they even truly care about race and racial issues. It’s about the Don Lemon’s and Shaun King’s of the world not making everything about race because of personal experiences, and waiting for all of the facts to come out instead of letting emotional bias clout judgement. It does not mean rioting the streets, threatening police officers, and informing others that Black Lives Matter and other do not. It means regaining trust amongst the American people, and with each other.
The only way to make real progress in this country is to get real about it, and tell the truth about racism in America, even if it hurts, and even if it is easier to push false narratives and finger-point, for we live in a culture and society where we have been taught thats what we’re supposed to do.
With that being said, why are we lying? Why are we lying about Donald Trump and what he really represents? Why are we lying about Donald Trump being a racist? Why are we lying about the relationship and reality between African and Black Americans and police officers in the United States of America? Why are we lying about the Black Lives Matter movement? Ignorance, a whole lot of ignorance and politics.
This was the hardest article i’ve ever written because I genuinely care about and love all people of all races. My one life mantra, is to be good to those who are good to you, regardless of race, upbringing with no exceptions made. I myself, felt inner turmoil in going through with this article, because I feared being labeled an ignorant racist, even though deep inside I knew I was just telling the truth. So why did I do it? Just because of that, I care.
